Why I want to be
your mayor
I never set out to become mayor. Serving on the city council, however, opened my eyes to Augusta’s potential and to the challenges we can solve together. That experience led me to consider how I could serve our community as mayor.
I want to be your mayor because I love Augusta, I believe in its people, and I see a bright future for our community. Above all, I want to bring people together.
Years of community involvement and public service have taught me that we will not always agree on every issue, and that is okay. Real leadership means listening to different perspectives, treating people with respect, having the courage to make difficult decisions, and finding common ground whenever possible.
Together, we can create opportunities for our families, strengthen our local economy, and build a community that future generations will be proud to call home.
When my time in public service is over, I hope our legacy will reach beyond the projects we completed and the buildings we built. I want to be remembered as a mayor who brought people together, listened, treated everyone fairly, and always put Augusta first.
“The decisions Augusta’s leaders make today will determine our city’s future success.”
